As the City of Birmingham continues to strengthen its systems of engagement with local busines s es, the Tax and License Division is introducing a new, more user-friendly online experience.
We are pleased to announce our partnership with HdL Companies, Inc. to provide a new tax management process for the taxpayer community.
Beginning September 17, 2024, online options will be provided to file returns, make payments, and submit account updates for the following taxes: Franchise Tax, Diesel Tax, Lease/Rental Tax, Liquor Tax (Wine and Non-Wine), Lodging Tax, Occupational Tax, Sales Tax, and Use Tax (Consumers/Sellers). We invite you to file and pay these taxes online through our website here.
This is now the City’s preferred method of receiving your tax filings and payments. All taxpayers who have provided an e-mail address will receive a welcome e-mail with login instructions.
We are here to help you! If you have any questions, please e-mail us at BhamTLSupport@birminghamal.gov.
