We dedicate this page in honor of our friend and namesake, Mr. Ernie Becker. We will always be grateful to him for his generous donations in support of technology on campus, and we will miss his personal support in our endeavor to provide a quality education for all students at Ernest A. Becker Sr. Middle School.
We will recall fondly Mr. Becker's visits to our campus to attend performances by our music students, and his presence at basketball games where he faithfully cheered our players on at home and away games.
We will smile when we think of Mr. Becker's classroom visits. the pleasure he took at asking students questions about their classwork and his kindly smiles and chuckles at students' responses. Mr. Becker gave much to us and to the Las Vegas community over the past 50 years, and in his honor we will strive to follow the examples he set.
Thanks, Mr. Becker, for being our friend. We miss you, and we promise to remain vigilant in our commitment to educational excellence in your name, a name we are proud to call ours, too!
